Oncowin Inaugurates New Centre in Nikol, Expands Access to Cancer Care for Adults as well as Pediatrics

Gujarat, Ahmedabad | 29 June 2025: Oncowin Cancer Centre, one of Gujarat’s leading institutions in cancer treatment and blood disease management, marked a major milestone with the inauguration of its new centre in Nikol on Sunday.

The expansion is part of Oncowin’s mission to make world-class cancer care accessible across Ahmedabad, where it already operates centres in Paldi and Nava Vadaj. The new centre at Nikol features a significantly larger space, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and cutting-edge medical technology.

A key highlight of the occasion was the launch of Oncowin Juniors, an exclusive unit dedicated to paediatric haematology and oncology. This one-of-a-kind facility in Ahmedabad focuses on the specialised treatment and holistic care of children battling blood disorders and cancer.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Little Heros, Cancer Warriors, eminent personalities like  Shri GordhanbhaiZadafia (Vice President Gujarat State BJP), Shri Babubhai Jamnadas Patel (M. L. A. Daskroi), Shri Prerakbhai Shah (President KarnavatiMahanagar BJP), Smt. Dharmishthaben Gajjar (Chairperson – Gujarat State Child Rights Protection Commission), Shri Pareshbhai Lakhani (General Secretary KarnavatiMahanagar BJP) and other dignitaries, leading medical professionals, general public and dedicated Oncowin team.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Itesh Khatwani, Co-founder and Medical Oncologist at Oncowin Cancer Centre, said, “At Oncowin Cancer Centre, our goal is not only to treat diseases, but also to extend all the support we can.
