Morari Bapu Pays Tribute to Victims of Ahmedabad Fire, Uganda Bus Tragedy, Extends Financial Assistance to Families

TALGAJARDA, GUJARAT | 20th JULY 2026 | Noted spiritual leader Morari Bapu, who is currently conducting a Ramkatha in Kericho, Kenya, has expressed profound grief over the loss of lives in a fire at a firecracker manufacturing unit in Ahmedabad and a bus accident in Uganda.

According to report, nine people, including a child, lost their lives in the fire at a firecracker factory in Ahmedabad’s Vastral area on Saturday. As a gesture of support, Morari Bapu has announced financial assistance of Rs. 15,000 for each bereaved family, amounting to a total of Rs. 1,35,000.

In another tragic incident, a bus carrying schoolchildren met with an accident in Kapchorwa district of eastern Uganda on Thursday. The bus was returning from an educational trip to the well-known Sipi Falls when it veered off the road and overturned. The accident claimed the lives of 21 people, including 20 children.

Expressing his heartfelt condolences, Morari Bapu has announced financial assistance of Rs. 15,000 for each of the 21 bereaved families, amounting to a total of Rs. 3,15,000. The assistance will be disbursed to the families through devotees associated with the ongoing Ramkatha in Kenya.

Bapu has also extended financial assistance of Rs. 15,000 to the family of a person who lost his life in a road accident on Mahuva National Highway on July 18.

Morari Bapu has offered prayers at the holy feet of Lord Hanuman for eternal peace to the departed souls and for strength to the bereaved families to bear their irreparable loss.
