AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT | 02nd SEPTEMBER 2026 | Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the Karnavati Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Hospital on Thursday, marking the opening of a new multi-speciality healthcare facility in Ahmedabad. The facility brings together advanced medical technology and specialised healthcare services under one roof.
The 80-bed hospital will provide comprehensive medical care, supported by experienced healthcare professionals and advanced diagnostic and treatment facilities. The hospital has a 20-bed advanced ICU and four Class 100 modular operation theatres, along with facilities for a range of medical and surgical specialities.
Its diagnostic infrastructure includes an in-house 32-slice CT scanner, 3D/4D sonography, digital X-ray, ECG, 2D/3D echocardiography, TMT and a modern diagnostic laboratory. The hospital also has a 24-hour emergency and trauma care facility.

The hospital also provides cashless mediclaim facilities and accepts Ayushman Bharat (MA) cards.
