GUJARAT, AHMEDABAD | 28 JULY 2025: As part of Rotary International’s focus on Maternal and Child Health Month, the Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline, under its flagship initiative ‘Skyline Medical Aid’, successfully organized a significant health service project at the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Sanathal.
The program was conducted with the esteemed presence and under the valuable guidance of:
- Dr. Shailesh Parmar, Chief District Health Officer (CDHO)
- Dr. Kapadia, District RCHO
- Dr. B.K. Vaghela, Taluka Health Officer
Key contributions made by the Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline during this initiative included:
- The donation of a new Radiant Warmer for the delivery room at PHC Sanathal, enhancing critical care for newborns.
- The distribution of Nutrition Kits and Protein Supplements to 50 high-risk pregnant women, aiming to improve maternal and child health outcomes.
This impactful initiative was led by Dr. Archana Shah, Gynecologist at Sanidhya Hospital and Chair of Skyline Medical Aid. She collaborated closely with Rtn. Jagender Gupta, President of the Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline, and received strong support from numerous enthusiastic members of the club.
Speaking on the occasion, President Jagender Gupta stated, “Our club is committed to meaningful service that creates real impact. Through this project, we aim to strengthen the grassroots healthcare infrastructure and support the well-being of mothers and newborns, contributing directly to the health of our community.”
