Morari Bapu Pays Tribute to Victims of Meghalaya Mine Tragedy, Announces Financial Aid

GUJARAT, AHMEDABAD | 06th FEBRUARY 2026 — Renowned spiritual leader Morari Bapu has expressed profound grief over the tragic mining accident that occurred in the East Jaintia Hills region of Meghalaya. The devastating explosion at a coal mine claimed the lives of 18 people.

Morari Bapu paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the unfortunate incident. As a mark of compassion, he has announced financial assistance of Rs. 15,000 for each affected family. The total assistance amounts to Rs. 2,70,000.

The financial aid will be deposited into the Meghalaya Chief Minister’s Relief Fund through Varun Modi, a Mumbai-based listener of Ram Katha.

Morari Bapu has also offered prayers for the eternal peace of the departed souls and prayed for strength for the grieving families.
