IndiGo CarGo Transports 4,400 Tonnes of Cargo from Ahmedabad in FY2025-26.

Ahmedabad, 21 August 2026: Reinforcing Ahmedabad’s role as a key manufacturing and export hub, IndiGo, India’s preferred airline and one of the fastest growing carriers in the world, transported approximately 4,400 tonnes of cargo from the city during FY2025–26. The cargo comprised nearly 2,200 tonnes of pharmaceuticals, 1,100 tonnes of textiles, and 1,100 tonnes of valuables, including diamonds, gold and silver, reflecting the city’s diverse industrial strengths and its contribution to domestic and international trade.

Recent additions, including connectivity from Bhavnagar and Jamnagar to Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), have further strengthened regional access to commercial centres and export gateways through IndiGo’s growing network.

Leveraging the belly capacity of its passenger aircraft network alongside dedicated cargo capabilities, IndiGo CarGo facilitates the movement of pharmaceuticals, engineering products, perishables, e-commerce shipments, textiles, and other high-value commodities.
