Gandhinagar, 27 February 2026 – The Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), now Dhirubhai Ambani University (DAU), is currently hosting Synapse 2026, its flagship annual technical and cultural festival, under the electrifying theme “The Joker’s Realm” — a world where every choice is a move, every event is a game, and nothing is ever as simple as it seems.
Running from 26 February to 1 March 2026, Synapse has already ignited the campus with four days of high-octane competitions, immersive cultural nights, celebrity performances, and cutting-edge technical challenges. Organised entirely by students under faculty mentorship, the festival exemplifies DA-IICT’s commitment to experiential learning, innovation, leadership, and collaborative problem-solving.
Day 1 (26 February) kicked off with a grand Inaugural Ceremony at the Open Air Theatre (OAT) at 7:00 PM, followed by a hilarious Standup Night, campus-wide SynapShot photography hunt, gripping Stage Play, starlit Prom Night on the Basketball Court, and the adrenaline-pumping late-night Rampage.
Day 2 (27 February) brought a packed schedule starting with MonoActe and Hunger Hikes, moving into creative showdowns like Picture Perfect, soulful Raaga & Rhapsody, the much-awaited Concert Night on the SAC Ground, late-night Mime-Out-Loud, CosCon, Rap Battle, and explosive Showdown.
Day 3 (28 February) witnessed intense technical battles with Synocubix, Samwaad, Nukkad Natak, Code Mutants, Crimes & Clues, Quizception, Battle Drome, Synapse Got Latent, Footloose, a powerhouse performance by Javed Ali at Concert Ground, and the legendary Battle of Bands.
Day 4 (1 March) continues with high-stakes tech hunts (Tech Hunt, Stroke Of Genius, Symphony, Tales & Trails, Math-ify, The Last Resource), electrifying dance finale Naach, rap icon KR$NA live on Concert Ground, and the poetic closure Bismil Ki Mehfil.
The festival features a thrilling mix of competitive programming, robotics challenges, hackathons, quizzes, workshops, expert talks, and cultural spectacles — drawing participants from across the country and reaffirming Synapse’s reputation as one of Western India’s premier student-led technical-cultural fests.
