1 in every 3 deaths worldwide is caused by heart disease. 50 percent of children with congenital heart disease in the world are diagnosed with heart disease at a very old age. 1 in 5 young adults; dies of heart disease. Considering this seriousness, various programs are organized on September
29th World Heart Day to create awareness about heart disease .
Sunday and 27th September at 7:30 am at Medilink Hospital, Federation International Law, Medicine; Ethics & Innovation (FILMEI)Organized a Walkathon Rally with Giant Welfare Foundation as a joint initiative .
Simultaneously other health awareness programs were organized also.
Former Medical Superintendent of Narendra Modi Medical College and Professor of Surgery Dr. Rajesh Shah while flagging off the rally said that this year we have mantra “Don’t Miss the Beat” by World Heart Foundation. During the program more than 50 people donated blood and more than 100 people trained for Life saving training like CPR
Well-known doctors like Dr. Anil, Dr. Manish Agarwal, Dr. Arvind Patel, Dr. Raghu Satya Narayan, Dr. Bhagirath Solanki also gave lectures in the program.
