Reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability, Chiripal Mirchi Green Yodha successfully concluded another edition of its city-wide plantation initiative, bringing together citizens, schools, corporates and communities in a collective effort towards a greener Ahmedabad.
A joint sustainability initiative by the Chiripal Group and Mirchi, Chiripal Mirchi Green Yodha has, over the years, grown into one of Ahmedabad’s most impactful community-led environmental movements. With a vision to encourage citizens to embrace greener habits, the initiative continues to inspire participation through plantation drives and community engagement.
As part of this year’s campaign, free saplings were distributed through mobile canters at prominent locations across Ahmedabad, including Sabarmati Riverfront, Law Garden, Parimal Garden, Oxygen Park (SBR), Prahlad Nagar, AUDA Garden (Prahlad Nagar), and Shanti Corporate House, taking the message of environmental conservation directly to neighbourhoods across the city.
Further extending its impact, Chiripal Mirchi Green Yodha also organised plantation drives at schools and corporate offices, where students, employees and community members came together to plant saplings and reaffirm their commitment towards protecting the environment. The initiative highlighted the power of collective action and demonstrated how small efforts can create a lasting impact when communities come together.
The campaign culminated with a special plantation event that celebrated the shared commitment of citizens, educational institutions and corporate organisations towards building a greener future.
