AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT | 31st JANUARY 2026 — Author and Performance Coach Mithilesh Chudgar launched his latest book, Your Life. Your Movie., at a reflective and engaging event organised by the Ahmedabad Literary Society on January 31. The launch brought together readers, writers, and members of the cultural community for an evening that focused less on promotion and more on introspection.
Rooted in a simple yet evocative metaphor, Your Life. Your Movie. invites readers to look at their lives as unfolding stories shaped by choices, roles, and moments of awareness. The book does not offer formulas or instructions; instead, it encourages readers to pause and observe whether they are consciously shaping their lives or merely responding to circumstances.
The book is about re-scripting your life. A question which Mithilesh Chudgar asked during the conversation was, “Are situations, circumstances directing your life or are you consciously directing life” and he encouraged people to start directing their lives and slso emphasized on becoming the editor of your own life.
Speaking at the event, Mithilesh Chudgar shared that the book was born out of years of observing everyday life. “I noticed that many people are doing everything they are supposed to do, yet feel strangely disconnected from their own journey,” he said. “This book is an invitation to step back into one’s own story with clarity and ownership.”
The book launch was designed as an interactive experience rather than a traditional release. It featured a moderated conversation with the author, readings from the book, and audience reflections. The discussion explored themes of presence, responsibility, and the quiet moments where individuals unknowingly step away from directing their own lives.
Participants were encouraged to think and reflect by asking conventional questions, creating a thoughtful and intimate atmosphere. The evening resonated strongly with attendees, many of whom reflected on their own life “scenes” and the choices shaping them.
Your Life. Your Movie. does not promise dramatic transformation or overnight change. Instead, it focuses on small, intentional shifts—becoming aware of personal narratives, re-examining past interpretations, and consciously choosing the next step forward.
The book is now available to readers who appreciate reflective writing and are seeking a deeper connection with their personal and professional lives.
