Ahmedabad 24 November 2024 – The Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline hosted its first-ever Skyline MasterChef 1.0, a unique and exciting culinary competition that combined real-time cooking challenges, creative camaraderie, and unforgettable fellowship. The event, held on a lovely Sunday evening, witnessed over 60 participants and a lively crowd of 150+ attendees, making it a grand success applauded by one and all.
A Culinary Showdown Like Never Before
The heart of the evening was the main competition, where teams of members were given limited time to prepare a dish using fresh groceries and vegetables, much like the famous MasterChef format. This first-of-its-kind competition showcased the culinary creativity and teamwork of Skyline members, including enthusiastic male participants supporting their female partners.
A Winning Evening of Talent and Fun
The culinary talents of participants were judged by a panel of four esteemed judges, who praised the skills and efforts of all contestants. The competition concluded with the following accolades:
- Skyline Culinary Champion Award: Rtn. Ankur & Pragya Agarwal
- First Runners-Up: Rtn. Preetika & Rahul Garg
- Second Runners-Up: Rtn. Mayank & Bhoomi Chhunchha
Adding to the excitement were two engaging sub-events:
- Maggi Maestro Competition, which crowned Rtn. Jay Trivedi as the winner.
- Golgappa Gladiators Challenge, where Jal House Team devoured 125 golgappas in under 4 minutes to claim victory.
