AHMEDABAD 23 June 2025 – The Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline, Gujarat’s largest and India’s fourth-largest Rotary club, hosted its prestigious annual “Skyline Sky Star Awards 2025” gala at the luxurious Crowne Plaza Ahmedabad. The event was a grand celebration of excellence, impact, and leadership, designed with the grandeur and energy of a Bollywood Filmfare-style awards ceremony.
The evening saw over 300 Rotarians and their families in attendance, alongside esteemed dignitaries and senior Rotarians from various clubs across the city. Every detail, from the red carpet welcome and paparazzi-style photo booths to the mesmerizing opening sequence, contributed to an unforgettable tribute to service, leadership, and camaraderie. The entire celebration was conceptualized and directed by Rtn. Rekha Kabra.
President’s Choice Awards Honor Key Contributions
The pinnacle of the evening was the presentation of the President’s Choice Awards:
- The Rajratna Award, the highest honor, was bestowed upon Rtn. Rekha Kabra, a founding member and Past President. This award recognized her timeless service, visionary leadership, and unwavering commitment that laid the foundation for the Rotary Club of Ahmedabad Skyline.
- The Vajra Award was presented to Rtn. Ashish Pandey, the Club Secretary, for his unshakable dedication and tireless efforts, which served as a strong backbone for the year’s success.

- Rtn. Shyamal Divetia being named Skyliner of the Year.

All Chairs were also recognized for their dedicated contributions and responsibilities throughout the year, making it a true celebration of collective success.
“Her Sphere” Book Unveiled
A special moment of the evening was the launch of “Her Sphere”, a beautifully compiled book chronicling the inspiring stories of 30 remarkable women from the Skyline family. The book was unveiled by esteemed Chief Guest, Smt. Bina Mehta, a celebrated choreographer and social icon. Smt. Mehta personally honored each featured woman with a personalized trophy, acknowledging their strength, passion, and achievements.
