Nom Ratri and After Ratri Celebrations Enthral Garba Enthusiasts

GUJARAT, AHMEDABAD | 04th OCTOBER 2025: Ahmedabad witnessed two unique cultural evenings this Navratri with “Nom Ratri” and “After Ratri”, both conceptualised and organised by creative strategist and corporate filmmaker Rohan Jardosh. Both events drew large gatherings, bringing together devotees and Garba revellers for dance, devotion, and celebration.

The “Nom Ratri” event, held on the ninth night of Navratri, featured the celebrated singer Sanjay Oza, whose soulful renditions of traditional Garba set the tone for a vibrant and devotional evening. Garba revellers danced with devotion to Maa Amba, immersing themselves in the cultural and spiritual essence of the festival.

Sanjay Oza’s performance, comprising some of his most popular Garba compositions, captivated the crowd and ensured the festive spirit resonated throughout the venue. Following his performance, the celebrations continued with traditional Mandali Garba, carrying on until sunrise and leaving revellers with lasting memories of a night steeped in tradition.

Extending the celebrations beyond the traditional nine nights, “After Ratri” was held on October 2, offering Garba lovers one more chance to celebrate. The evening began with an engaging performance by Dhruvish Shah, whose voice kept the audience captivated until midnight. The night then transitioned into an innovative “Techno Garba”, blending traditional dance with electronic beats, creating an unforgettable vibe for revellers eager to keep the Navratri spirit alive.

Speaking about the two events, Rohan Jardosh said, “Navratri is a festival that celebrates devotion.‘Nom Ratri’ featured celebration of tradition and spirituality in its purest form. The ‘After Ratri’ event extended the energy and excitement of Navratri by one more day with a modern twist. Such enthusiastic participation, with thousands of revellers dancing, celebrating, and enjoying the music, was incredibly rewarding.”

Together, the two celebrations showcased the richness of Gujarat’s cultural traditions while embracing new forms of artistic expression, making them memorable highlights of this year’s festive season. The Forum at Club O7 provided the perfect setting for the two dynamic nights.
