  • Ahmedabad accounts for roughly 10% of India’s job market, driving strong demand for skilled professionals in data science, financial analytics, and digital technologies

Ahmedabad | 4th July 2025: Imarticus Learning, one of India’s leading professional education companies, announced the launch of its inaugural center in Ahmedabad. Being an education hub attracting students from across Gujarat and other states, the city is home to top universities, engineering colleges, and management institutes, including IIM Ahmedabad. With the new center, Imarticus Learning aims to address the existing skill gap and empower the local talent with high-demand skills through its industry-aligned courses and practical career support.

Industry data suggests that Gujarat has one of the highest rates of employable youth in the age group of 21-29 years. Whereas Ahmedabad accounts for roughly 10% of India’s job market, with major sectors including textiles, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, automotive, and financial services. The city has also become a financial powerhouse with the emergence of GIFT City, creating new demand for fintech and financial analytics talent. As internet connectivity and digital adoption improve, even learners outside Ahmedabad are turning to hybrid learning platforms for upskilling. Imarticus Learning’s blended learning model (combining online content with classroom mentorship) will ensure that learners get access to high-quality education.

Learners will also benefit from Imarticus Learning’s job assurance programs in domains like finance, analytics, and marketing, which offer interview guarantees and dedicated placement support, ensuring their successful transition to the relevant industry roles. The new center will also offer specialized preparation programs for five global accounting and finance certifications–CMA, CFA, ACCA, CPA, and FRM. These programs will provide learners with globally benchmarked skills and credentials to enhance their employability and career progression in the growing financial services sector of the state.

Nikhil Barshikar, Founder and CEO, Imarticus Learning, said, “We have witnessed that many freshers and early-career professionals are proactively pursuing certification courses in finance, data science and analytics, gen AI, marketing, and emerging tech to stay relevant. This reflects a cultural shift where lifelong learning is becoming integral to career growth. The launch of the Ahmedabad center is a step towards our aim to upskill 5 million learners by FY28, expanding access to quality education and career advancement opportunities. Gujarat’s dynamic economic growth and increasing demand for future-ready talent make the state a strategic priority for us. The new center will play a pivotal role in developing a skilled talent pool across high-demand sectors such as finance, data science and analytics, marketing, and digital technologies—driving innovation and making a meaningful contribution to the growth of the state’s rapidly expanding industries.”

The new center has been launched at Marcado on the CG road. Currently, Imarticus Learning has over 20 centers and offices across the country. The company plans to launch three to five additional centers by the year-end, deepening its presence in the new geographies, especially Tier II and Tier III cities. The move aligns with the company’s vision to strengthen its physical presence across the country and upskill 5 million learners by FY28.

The company has impacted over 1 million careers within a decade. Starting as a physical-first model, it has diversified into online and hybrid learning formats over the years. It has collaborated with 25+ premier institutes and industry leaders, including IIMs, IITs, ISB, XLRI, London Business School, Oxford, PwC, and KPMG.
