Among the nine temples personally established by Bhagwan Shree SwaminarayanMahaprabhu, the fifth temple is located at Jetalpur, where He Himself performed the PranPratishtha (consecration) of RevatiBaldevjiHarikrishnaMaharaj. On the auspicious day of Fagan Vad 8, VikramSamvat 2082 (March 11, 2026), the temple completed 200 years since this historic consecration.

To commemorate this sacred milestone, a grand Bicentenary Patotsav was organized from March 5 to March 11 under the guidance and blessings of Shree NarNarayanDevPeethadhipati P.P. Dh. Dh. 1008 AcharyaShriKaushalendraprasadjiMaharaj and MotaMaharajshri P.P. TejendraprasadjiMaharajshri, and under the presidency of BhaviAcharya P.P. 108 VrajendraprasadjiMaharajshri.

On the final day of the ‘Avsar’ program, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat ShriBhupendra Patel graced the occasion with his presence. Addressing the gathering, he said that the completion of 200 years of JetalpurDham is truly a grand and historic celebration.

He remarked that one can only imagine how divine and magnificent the day must have been 200 years ago when BhagwanSwaminarayan Himself performed the PranPratishtha in this temple. In the Sanatan tradition, places where the Lord has walked, lived, or performed divine acts are considered sacred. Therefore, Jetalpur holds a special spiritual significance as BhagwanSwaminarayan Himself consecrated the deity here, making the temple uniquely divine and magnificent.

The Chief Minister further stated that, to his knowledge, BhagwanSwaminarayan played a significant role in eradicating social evils and superstitions from society. He also set a remarkable example of social harmony and unity. Referring to the historic Vishnu Mahayagna organized by BhagwanSwaminarayan, he noted that people from various communities sat together and dined, symbolizing equality and inclusiveness—an inspiring moment that continues to fill people with pride and reverence.

Speaking about national development, Shri Patel said that devotees of the SwaminarayanSampraday have always demonstrated a spirit of contributing towards society and the nation. He urged everyone to work together in realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat and Viksit Gujarat by 2047.
