Mumbai, October 9, 2026: This Navratri, Sony PAL brings the stories and spiritual significance of Maa Durga closer to audiences with ‘Mahotsav Adi Shakti Ka’, a 10-episode limited program premiering on 11th October at 7:30 PM. The series journeys across India to explore the nine forms of Maa Durga, their stories and symbolism, and the sacred temples associated with them.
Each episode brings alive a different form of the Devi and a new destination, weaving together mythology, history, tradition, and travel. From the significance of each form to the temples where she is worshipped, the series explores the stories and cultural heritage that have endured across generations.
Hosted by popular actor Shruti Anand, the program combines devotion with discovery as she takes viewers through these stories and destinations. The series also offers practical information for those inspired to undertake these journeys themselves, including how to reach the temples by air, rail and road.
